Preschool Digital Learning Activities with Boom

Preschool Digital Learning Activities

preschool digital learning activities header image

If you’re lucky enough to have a Smartboard, tablets, or computers in your preschool classroom, there’s a fabulous set of preschool digital learning activities I want to tell you about.

These activities are great for independent centers or whole class practice.  They also make the perfect preschool RTI activity, because they’re so easy to differentiate based on your children’s needs.

What am I talking about?  BOOM decks.  Have you heard of them?  If not, keep reading to find out all the details!

BOOM Learning

Boom Learning is a website full of digital games, activities, and centers designed by teachers for students.  The games are fun, interactive, and completely engaging. PLUS…they are self-checking!

Games can be played on any device that has an internet connection– Smartboards, tablets, Ipads, Kindle Fire, Laptops, Phones, or Computers!

Please note:  the only internet browser they are not compatible with is Internet Explorer because it isn’t a secure platform.  Otherwise, you can play these on Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or any other browser!

Each game is called a “deck”, and decks are shuffled each time before they are played so your students will never do activities in the same order.

If students choose the correct answer, they hear a ding.  If they choose the wrong answer, they hear “Whoops” and get the chance to correct their work.  Instant feedback makes these Boom Decks very rewarding for little learners.

And with a paid teacher account (for just $30 per year!), you’ll have access to all kinds of printable reports and can easily differentiate, determining which child is assigned which activity.

If you don’t want to pay for this modestly priced subscription, you can let children play the games for free.  However, you won’t have access to reports, and you won’t be able to differentiate as easily.

Preschool Digital Activities on BOOM

I’ve created lots of Boom Decks for my own Pre-K students, and I think your little learners will love them as well!  They absolutely love these activities, and I feel good knowing that they are practicing skills that will help boost their kindergarten readiness.

I’ve created a bundle of preschool Boom cards that covers a multitude of skills.  By purchasing a bundle such as this, you save tons of money over buying individual games.

This bundle is priced much lower than if you purchased each game individually.
