I’m a sucker for bright colors. They simply make me happy. And bright colors against a black background? AHH! Happiness for days! I wanted to show you how I created one of my favorite parts of the classroom–our birthday board! It’s simply beautiful!
One important part of this display is the bright pom poms. You can purchase them as I did (before I knew how easy peasy they are to make!!). I got them here, from Cupcake Wishes and Birthday Dreams on Etsy.
The cupcakes come on a thick string so they can be hung easily. I draped them across the top of the board.
Aren’t the colors stunning?? Or…you can make your own pom poms using this fabulous tutorial I found from Adventures of a DIY Mom. Pin it!

Are the cupcake liners used on the garland paper liners? I’m planning on using this for my pre-k classroom. I have been using the same themed birthday board for a few years and I want to change it up a bit. This is beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration.
