Halloween Safety Tips for Kids
I’m kind of a stickler for safety. And I truly believe that we as teachers have the perfect opportunity to teach our children how to make wise choices and how to be safe–in lots of different situations. I thought Halloween was the perfect time to teach some safety tips so our little learners can have fun and not get hurt on this fun night! So I created a coloring book of Halloween Safety Tips for kids!
This printable coloring book will help children pass the day on Halloween as they eagerly await trick or treating that night! Plus, it’ll give you the chance to go over some valuable safety tips. Best of all? The booklet is FREE!
Halloween Safety Tips
Using this coloring book, you’ll be able to teach your little ones the following Halloween safety tips:
- Don’t trick or treat alone. Go with a group.
- Look carefully before crossing the street.
- Use reflective tape or glow sticks so others can see you.
- Don’t go inside strangers’ homes.
- Let a grown up check your candy before you eat it.
- Don’t eat too much candy. Brush your teeth well.
Of course, as a teacher I was totally tempted to add “Don’t eat candy for breakfast” to this booklet! Hopefully, the parents will think of that rule on their own.
Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this fun and FREE printable Halloween Safety Tips coloring book. And PIN this post to help other teachers find this FREE resource!
