Does your school celebrate Grandparents’ Day? Mine does–in a big way! We host a brunch or breakfast for all the students and grandparents. (We’re a small school with only about 120 students!). We always *happen* to have our book fair that same week. Grandparents LOVE to buy books for their grands! *wink*
Coincidentally, the lady who created Grandparents Day is from my hubby’s hometown, Oak Hill, WV!
Most of the classes make little treats for these precious people, and the grandparents get to visit the classrooms and see what their littles have been learning and doing! AND Grandparents can check their grandkids out early to spend the day with them. It’s a big hit every year! Here are some things we’ve done in the past:
