As a teacher, I worry about the Summer Slide. Will next year’s teacher think “Did this lady teach these kids ANYTHING?” Will they remember what they’ve learned? As a mom, I worry about the Summer Slide as well. I want my daughter to have a good break from school and plenty of play time, but I also want her to remember the things she’s learned and to have some FUN educational experiences that will help her retain her learning.
