Today I’m linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for the first time for Monday Made It!
I originally saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to create one for my classroom. I started with a card rack book shelf in the corner of my room. The drawers were dirty and banged up, so I primed and painted them glossy white:
I began with some white tissue paper pom poms I bought at Hobby Lobby. I pinned them to the ceiling to look like clouds. My husband mounted a wire line across the corner of the walls using screws.
Then I draped rainbow colored boas over the wire directly under the clouds.
This is what the rainbow and clouds look like together. Love it!
But I couldn’t leave it at that. I got out my handy Silhouette and cut out the letters for “Books are the pot of Gold at the end of the Reading Rainbow.”
I love the finished product! I think my kiddos will love it, too! 🙂
