I’m *slightly* obsessed with scarecrows. In fact, I think they’re downright cute. So much so, that I recently created a scarecrow craft for my kidlettes to complete. We turned it into a bulletin board!

One of my favorite scarecrow books is The Little Scarecrow Boy. Last year, my kindergartners were charged with making their scariest face to scare the crows away! This makes a fun class book! 🙂

A fun culminating activity is building a real scarecrow. My hubby came and made one with my class and my daughter’s class last year. Please excuse the hideous Mother-Goose-Looking-Bank-Bag Head (and don’t tell hubby I said that…lol). The kids had a blast! What a fun memory!
