B2S: First Day Lesson Plans for K-2

July 23, 2015 by Ashley Reed 1 Comment

I spent this week writing my lesson plans to be sure the first day of school is “The Best Day Ever!”  I wanted my plans to be super fun, informative, purposeful, and easy to prep ahead of time!  This is what I came up with:

I’ll post pics when I get everything prepped.  I plan to keep it in a “first day folder” that I can pull from year after year!  I suggest some great first day books, but they aren’t required to carry out these lesson plans:

All lesson plans are editable in Power Point.  Take out what you don’t want to use; add in your own times, activities, etc.
My first day is August 5th, and the kids come August 10th!  I can’t wait to enjoy the BEST DAY EVER! 🙂
You can grab it at TPT here:
